Brave Software, Inc. Badan hukum berbentuk "Inc." di California. Di surat pendaftarannya, dinyatakan bahwa Brendan Eich menjabat sebagai CEO merangkap Secretary merangkap CFO. Kantornya itu alamat Eich sendiri, di 512 2nd Street, Second Floor, San Francisco. Ongkos pendiriannya $25, pakai notaris CT Corporation System.

Di atas merupakan cuplikan hukum Inc. di California. Dijelaskan bahwa jumlah saham itu harus dijelaskan sejak awal. Saham pun bisa punya kelasnya masing-masing. Definisikan juga hak-hak khusus di masing-masing kelas saham.
Kata "incorporated", itu berasal dari kata "corpus" yang artinya badan. Maksudnya itu kita membuat "badan" orang buatan. Di mata hukum, perusahaan berbadan hukum itu sama seperti orang. Kenapa harus berbadan hukum? Pertama, melindungi aset pribadi. Jelas dipisahkan, mana harta perusahaan, mana harta pribadi. Selanjutnya, kredibilitas dan perlindungan hukum. Lalu, penjualan saham bisa menguntungkan.

Proyek Thunderbird tidak lagi didanai oleh Mozilla. Sekarang, proyek ini ada di bawah naungan MZLA Technologies Corporation (wholly owned by Mozilla Foundation). Awalnya ada di bawah organisasi non profit 501(c)(3), lalu dipindah ke organisasi profit, agar lebih fleksibel. Alasan yang lain, supaya bisa "merdeka" dari Firefox. Konon, Thunderbird itu dulunya agak bergantung pada Firefox engine. Refactoring di Firefox bisa berpengaruh ke Thunderbird. Jadi, Firefox pun mau supaya Thunderbird keluar saja.

As the owner of an ApS, you are not personally liable for the debts and obligations of the company. A new ApS is incorporated at the Danish Business Authority (Erhvervsstyrelsen). In order to incorporate a new ApS, you need to deposit a minimum of 40.000 DKK[1] in share capital, or you can make a non-cash deposit by depositing assets into the company.
The share capital deposited into the new ApS belongs to the ApS and not the owners. The owners can spend the equity capital to pay for company costs, salaries and dividends. We can also deposit assets like a car, goods, inventory, etc. But first, you'll need an auditor to audit the value of all the items.

Aplikasi PDF reader "kecil dan ringan" khusus untuk Windows. Rilis 2006. Developernya dua orang (salah satunya : Krzysztof Kowalczyk), dibuat pakai Visual Studio dan C++.[2] Cerita awalnya, Krzysztof adalah karyawan Palm yang ditugaskan untuk membuat aplikasi PDF reader untuk mini-laptop baru keluaran Palm (OSnya berbasis linux ARM). Untuk membuat aplikasi ini, dia pakai poppler sebagai PDF renderernya. Kemudian, agar lebih cepat, dia mau bongkar Popplernya pakai profiler Windows. Oleh karena itu, aplikasi PDFnya harus dipindahkan dulu ke Windows. Berhasil deh, popplernya berhasil dimodifikasi supaya jadi lebih cepat lagi.
Eh, laptop Palmnya gagal rilis. Akhirnya, justru PDF reader Windows itu lah yang dirilis.
Fokus dia sejak awal itu gimana supaya aplikasinya "ringan dan gak berat", karena dia cukup terganggu dengan beratnya aplikasi Adobe Reader.
Di kemudian hari, poppler diganti dengan mupdf, karena library poppler sudah lumayan kurang terurus.[3]
